How Trust is being “#Algorithmized”!

Traditional markets across from finance and banking to home ownership and mobility worth hundreds of billions of dollars are up for grabs from incumbents. Why?

For the time in thousands of years trust is being “#Algorithmized”! Prior to the purview of the few chosen ones, for the first time the mobile phone has created access to markets on an unprecedented scale. Billions of users around the world from San Francisco to London and Beijing to Lusaka, people and businesses are now collaborating to access markets, where trust as a currency is the commodity, because its #algorithmized.

“Here’s a little-known fact: Berkshire Hathaway, the fifth-largest company in the United States, with some $162.5 billion in revenue and 300,000 employees worldwide, has no general counsel that oversees the holding company’s dozens of units. There is no human resources department, either.”

Uber, Airbnb, SolarCity, Bitcoin, et al are disrupting traditional business models where ownership and asset visibility was everything. Today it’s all about access.

Lack of trust in traditional business models and market markets is at its all time low in centuries.

It’s clear, the one institution that the average joe on the street had trust in is gone or almost gone.  I saw this ad in the tube in London yesterday and thought that this is where the greatest disruptive opportunity is being reflected, trust.

The key topic across every executive today is trust and the disruption in business.

So what does this mean. Our work in the Stanford PIL in 2014 involved how do we evaluate and #algorithmize trust as a protocol that we can leverage across markets. This comes from my prior work from over a decade in understanding technology and creating a new protocol for commerce and people like the HTTP that every single person on the planet could use anywhere across any transacting terminal as their currency in any part of the world like the stock ticker symbol of a company.

The details of the design and algorithm are proprietary but our work is how we are creating a new model that we can embed a protocol for any person on the planet to use a single ticker at their interface for any transaction globally.  Is HyperTrust Transfer Protocol the new HTTP, TCP/IP? Our work is a combination of behavior + marketplace + supplychain ecosytems.

BEHAVIOR IS THE NEW WEATHER CHANNEL!

Watch this space. eCommerce as we know is being disrupted and it’s all about ‘Access” and not “Ownership”.
